Conner's birthday and party

The day before Conner's birthday we went with my dad to the Bean and Dinosaur museums. The kids had fun. My dad gave Conner a t-ball set. Conner loves it. When we did the sports camp t-ball was his favorite.

He does a good job.

We tried a bigger ball he did good, but I think he likes the smaller one. It will be interesting to see what sports he plays when he gets older.

For his birthday we gave him a bike. He was so happy to see it. We gave it to him before Richie went to work. Conner did really good about waiting for Richie to get home to ride it.

I think that is his biggest smile yet.

Conner would just laugh the whole time Richie was teaching him how to pedal.

He would always out the breaks on, so our sidewalk has a bunch of marks. He is getting better at not putting them on all the time. We just need to work with him on when to use the breaks. Right now he will put his feet down to stop him.

I have no clue what made him do this. It reminds me of a clown on a small bike.

It didn't take him long before he got the hang of pedaling. When we are outside he is either on his bike or playing t-ball.

For Conner's party we did a pirate party. They both really love Jake and the Neverland Pirates.

I put one on, and I made Richie put one on as well.

We did a small treasure hunt. The kids all got a tattoo, a map, a headband, and an eye patch.

They each got a little treat bag. While the other kids were looking at what was in the bag Conner was inside opening presents. He was on overload big time.

The Newton's gave him a box of Capri Sun's which he loves, and Scooby Doo DVD, and Looney tunes DVD. He really loves Scooby Doo.

He got so many great things. He got a few tractors, games, puzzles, jump rope, clothes. Just to name a few.

Everyone that was able to make it. I want to thank my Grandma and Kay for coming. They don't get out much anymore. It meant a lot to me that they were able to come. Love you guys.

At church the primary presidency give each kid a candy necklace for there birthday. Conner was so happy when he got his. He was the only one that got one this last Sunday. He was such a big kid and went up there alone.
