St. Lucia

The beach we went to was nice, but it wasn't one that was good for swimming. It was a great one to collect shells. There were some pretty good sized shells here. The kids were a little disappointed that we couldn't take the bigger ones. The waves here were pretty rough. Megan took the "riding the wave" saying to a whole new level. The poor girl was knocked down and dragged by a wave. When she stood up her rash guard had a nice ball of sand twisted in it and she had sand all over her hair. When we went back to the boat to clean up she brought back a nice little sandbox in her hair. Thankfully we got most of it out in the shower.

View of the island from our ship.

Before we got back on the ship we did a little shopping. We went to Del Sol. The kids loved it, because all the stuff there changes color when put in the sun.

This was the first ship that we have been on that had a ice rink. Again this was a first for Meg. She went ice skating for the first time. Richie took Conner a few years back. I'm surprised at how well Conner did. Megan would fall on purpose. With her being so tall she needs to learn how to control her legs and arms.

Derrick wasn't happy that he did get to go ice skating. Plus he was worn out. The poor kid had too much fun at the beach.

He fell asleep and stayed asleep for the night.
